As one of Sierra Leone’s original community radio stations, Radio Mankneh serves the city of Makeni and surrounding communities in central/northern Sierra Leone. Major Ebola treatment centers were established in the area. Radio Mankneh kept information flowing and ensured community voices were heard during the crisis. It was one of six stations assisted by FWA during the crisis.
