Choice FM 93.5 .0 FM is a Freetown-based station that provides news, music, cultural and entertainment programs to its listeners in Sierra Leone’s capital city of Freetown. With a population of over 1 million, many of whom live in crowded, unsanitary conditions, Freetown became one of the epicenters of the Ebola outbreak. Choice FM provided it’s listeners with news and information on the status of spread of Ebola, official government policies – such as quarantines, school closings, and treatment center openings – while providing feeds from the Independent Radio Network
